Our Story

Established by Azmi Alaeddin in 1996, we are locally known for our restaurants, catering and school lunch services. Strongly recognized for serving Milwaukee's best Falafel & Hommus, we have infused Middle Eastern flavor into generational trends, creating a little bit of something for everyone.
The Start of Something Tasty Many remember our 90's beginnings as Aladdin's Middle Eastern Cuisine. A fine dining staple located on Plankton Avenue and Wells Street for nearly a decade. Some remember us from Milwaukee's largest festivals, including Summerfest, Pridefest, Bastille Days, Holiday Folk Fair, River Splash, Lakefront Festival of Art, Asian Moon, Arab Fest, Jazz in the Park and many more! In 2006, we relocated to the Milwaukee Public, a destination featuring one of Milwaukee's best food scenes. This location became Aladdin's Taste of the East. Offering our traditional top-sellers, a Middle-Eastern Deli and catering services. The location was expanded in 2010 with a Pita and Bowl bar (PitaWorks) to offer more options to our trendy, environmental and health-conscious customers. Adding a Coffee to your Order Our journey continued in 2009 when we opened our first à la carte -style cafe in the Milwaukee Intermodal Station. This was Aladdin's All-Aboard Cafe, a location that fused Middle Eastern and rustic cafe styles. This concept was then duplicated in 2016 to create Aladdin's City Cafe in the Milwaukee City Hall Complex. Don't Forget About the Kids In the Fall of 2014, we were selected as Salam School's new daily lunch provider. Every weekday roughly 900 K-12 students are served by Aladdin's. Partnering with the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, we are serving FREE school lunches for students around the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Free lunches are offered via curbside pickup Mon-Sat, 11:00am - 1:00pm, until June 30th, 2020. |
